So I am sure that most of you have heard of Pinterest by now but if you haven't all I have to say is, you will love it! Especially if you are planning a big event. Pinterest is an online bulletin board you can use to get ideas on absolutely anything. There are great pictures of every kind of party favor you can imagine along with instructions on how to make these great do it yourself projects. This is a great online resource and has become such a phenomenon that most websites including this one have a new "Pin it" button that allows you to share images from anywhere on the web on your bulletin board. Start pinning.
I love organizing, and I love to plan parties. A couple years ago I took the Meyers Brigg personality assessment and it catagorized me as an ENFP... but one of the big characteristics is that I love, love, love to brainstorm. Parties give me a great outlet for that. I love generating ideas, I even love the challenges and finding way to overcome them, or simply to make something unique. Last year I got to plan my daughter's quinceanera, it was so much fun that if I could I would do it again, but I can't, but since it is such a big interest for me I figured I would write about. I'm sure there are other parents, and amatuer party planners like myself that would just like some ideas, or advice, or even a place to vent their stress. So here I am.
